Jadon Sancho has plenty to become a top player according to Gareth Southgate.
The January window has opened and Jadon Sancho will be subject to rumours over his potential transfer to the Premier League’s joined leaders Manchester United.
Jadon Sancho was part of Manchester City’s academy but never broke through to the first team. Since his move to the Bundesliga, Sancho has become one of Europe’s top talents.
Is the move on or off – Manchester United have had an interesting start to the season but since losing to Arsenal one-nil at Old Trafford they have climbed up the table and adding him would bolester their chances in challenging for the title this year.
Jadon Sancho adds another dimension to any team. Why is Manchester United seem to be the only team after him? Is he good enough to slot in any team? He has been prolific for club but not country.
Manchester United need to decide on Paul Pogba before attempting to sign Sancho. His salary will definitely not be a stumbling block for United but the wage bill is increasing.
In November, 90min reported that United are still interested in Sancho and would like to make the deal happen in 2021. The gamble has paid off for United not to sign the winger back in Sept 2020. Sancho is yet to find the back of the net this season, compared to his 17 goals last season.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are following the transfer news very closely but none have formally reached out to Dortmund.
How will United Line-up?
If Manchester United triggered the transfer how would Ole play? Rashford on the left, Cavani down the middle and Sancho playing on the right and Bruno Fernandes feeding the front three, United would be a force to reckon with.
Personally, it would be exciting to see him in the Premier League, let’s see if United make the move this transfer window.
